  • I'm not very academic.
We get it. We've been there too. Either ourselves or our colleagues have asked the question: Do I have to be academic? The answer is no, you don't need to be academic to achieve the qualification. Your tutor will help you get all the support you need to succeed. If there are additional learning needs, we will do our best to see you have those needs met.
  • When do your courses run?
We know life can be busy, so our online courses are designed to work around your schedule. Unlike traditional training providers with fixed timetables, we offer courses throughout the week - both mornings and evenings - tailored to student preferences.
  • Is this a distance or remote learning course?
All our CPCAB courses are based on regularly attended weekly lessons. These are tutor-led and a requirement of the course. We believe that learning and developing counselling skills can only be taught through the interaction with other students. To learn from qualified counsellors as well as receiving feedback from peers. The course offers you the underpinning knowledge, skills, and competencies to use counselling skills ethically and safely in a variety of contexts and roles. Whether on the intensive or standard course, students are provided with 90hrs of tutor-led, class-based learning, all 100% online.
  • Do I need to have any previous experience?
The CPCAB Level 2 qualification is for learners with no previous training or experience who are looking to start their counselling training journey. Applicants must be 18 years or older and hold a GCSE English (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above, or a Level 2 English.
